J’Eleanor (Gel-ah-nor) is a combination of James and Eleanor,
my grandparents on my mom’s side.
They both lived long, happy lives as a marine (from Mississippi) and a nurse (from North Carolina), having 7 daughters, 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
If you can believe it, they passed two years apart on the same day.
I grew up listening to stories of rebellion, traveling the world, learning what love should feel like, figuring out any mess that may present itself, and loving those around me.

I have carried their love into my daily life and into my love of big life events.
After spending time in photography, the hotel industry, retail, and the world of massage therapy, event planning is where I am now and forever.

These include the spirit of timelessness, magic, uniqueness, & fun.
Once this is discussed with her clients, Kitty works to ensure that these values are met through their design & a vision-board process.
With Events By J'Eleanor, we guarantee individualized service. Clients can expect to receive help with everything from continuous vendor management, venue research, and site visits to helping with choosing vendors for the big day, customized event design and decor, planning checklists, and more!
